You already have the talent and the dream. Doesn't it make the most sense to steer your career with the guidance of people inside 'the business' who employ performers? [Seriously, what can you learn about making it in the real world from a "recent acting school graduate"?]

The Performing Option offers professional classes for working (and/or soon-to-be working) performers in age-appropriate classes conducted exclusively by working Casting Directors.

All series classes end with a Showcase for at least fifteen Invited Industry Professionals - Agents, Managers, Casting Directors - who are actively searching for fresh talent.

Yes, The Performing Option is an amazing venue for networking with the industry. But we are most proud of our students' consistently high booking ratio, which proves that a thorough grounding with the essential technical skills is the most dependable path to long-term success.

Broadway shows and National Tours! (Mary Poppins, Shrek, Billy Elliot, etc)

Our classes:
· Build a skill set for beginners & take the already-skilled to the next level.
· Build confidence for every step of the journey.
· Teach winning Commercial & Film audition techniques.
· And much, much more!

Many of our kids are currentlyappearing in Film, Television, Radio, on Broadway. They may currently be see on the hit shows Gossip Girl, Wonderpets, Law & Order, One Life to Live and are found on stage in Billy Elliot, Mary Poppins, West Side Story, Adams Family and more.

We also have students starring in Films such as TOY STORY 3 (lead Voice of Molly), Yes Virginia, There Is A Santa Claus, Disney’s The Sorcerer’s Apprentice, Salt (with Angelina Jolie) and more.

Tons of our students appear in commercials regularly!
