Trust me! As a former professional actor I’m really picky about my grandson’s training. It’s so easy to find a slick program advertising great connections with “Broadway Actors” and “top casting agents’ as teachers but how good are they really? How long have they been in business? You never know, and then they heap praises on your kids to keep you paying for more classes and keep them coming back. So hard to know what’s good and what’s not good, especially with so much flattery. So I’m here to tell you that The Performing Option is the real deal. With over 40 years of experience as a Casting Agent and training academy Madelyn Burns has got it right. Classes are taught by experts, not just those “in the field”. Who somehow manage to teach incredibly well while making it fun for the children. Both kids and parents develop friendships to last a lifetime and make connections in the business to sign with top agents and get cast in some of the top projects going on at the time.
There’s a reason that almost everyone involved knows each other. It is that successful and special and new comers are welcomed in immediately to become part of the family. Madelyn has been in the business forever and is the secret weapon that all parents rely upon for guidance and inside information. Yes, she knows everyone but is so respected in the business that showcases are attended by agents from the top agencies. They know that talent is bred at The Performing Option.
I can tell you that my grandson has grown exponentially as an actor, so much so that he can see his progress. He had lots of experience to begin with and the polishing he receives is at a professional adult level. For little ones the poise they develop is immeasurable. Come visit and see for yourself how graduates have become successful in a business where competition is just crazy. The Performing Option is indeed a home for families wanting to support the success of their children in an atmosphere that promotes outstanding growth.
